We have two dogs, a large black lab mix and a border collie mix. We installed the IUC 4100 over 2 acres of our property. This product turned out to be an excellent choice for us. The training DVD was great and the one time I had to call for support I received excellent advice. Both rechargable collars have given us no problems (1 1/2 years old) and they get there share of abuse - our dogs are very active.

One note on this technology if your not sure about its effectiveness. We also have a few free ranging hens for eggs. The dogs will not cross the fence even when the hens walk near the line. Now that's temptation! **** 5 Star Rating

Just upgraded today to the IUC 4100 from the HF-201, which I purchased on 7/22/02. Our Boxer "SUSU" is 3years old and was trained from a puppy, she only requires the audiable "tone" with a occassional test of the system mostly from her excitment, and not realizing her location in the yard. My System works amazingly well after 1 year. My golden retrievers were wanderers and I can leave them alone outside all day now without a single worry. I've had no problems with the other brand systems employed by both my next door neighbors. My 2 goldens stay out of the garden perimeter as well. This system has given me a new sense of security. I'll never have to spend my evenings driving around screaming out my car window. :) I'm adding a new black lab puppy to the system soon and hope the same good fortune continues. That will be three dogs I don't have to worry about.
