We have two dogs, a large black lab mix and a border collie mix. We installed the IUC 4100 over 2 acres of our property. This product turned out to be an excellent choice for us. The training DVD was great and the one time I had to call for support I received excellent advice. Both rechargable collars have given us no problems (1 1/2 years old) and they get there share of abuse - our dogs are very active.
One note on this technology if your not sure about its effectiveness. We also have a few free ranging hens for eggs. The dogs will not cross the fence even when the hens walk near the line. Now that's temptation! **** 5 Star Rating

Make sure you know Exactly how much wire your will need for your layout Perimeter or boundary. Do Not Forget to add in the amount of wire you need to go in and out from the transmitter to the perimeter edge. This will likely be twisted. Check the Planning Your Dog Fence Page in the INFO section, to see what amount of dog fence wire is best for your situation.
