My System works amazingly well after 1 year. My golden retrievers were wanderers and I can leave them alone outside all day now without a single worry. I've had no problems with the other brand systems employed by both my next door neighbors. My 2 goldens stay out of the garden perimeter as well. This system has given me a new sense of security. I'll never have to spend my evenings driving around screaming out my car window. :) I'm adding a new black lab puppy to the system soon and hope the same good fortune continues. I have only had the system for two weeks but I am sure that it has kept my one year old German Shepard out of trouble. He has learned to retreat from the beep in these two weeks, even when his biggest distraction(a dog that freely roams the streets) comes and goes. I've had the basic set since 1999. I'm just now replacing some wire. I'm very happy with this basic product. I am sure it has saved my dog's life by keeping him out of the intersection near my home and keeping him from following anyone and everyone who passes by the house on the way to the beach.

This is an excellent containment system; especially for the price. My dog, who is a 90 lb. chocolate labrador, was getting through, under and over the fence. This system has worked very well for us. Our puppy was a digger and encouraged neighbor dogs to come over and bark at the fence with her. She no longer digs or stands at the edge of the fence and barks.
In addition, we only had 2 hours to train her before going away on a short vacation. She had an intense 2 hour training with the "bad flag", and she picked up right away. We've had the system almost a year and very happy with it. The only downside was when we slacked off on putting on her shock collar; after a while she realized she could go in the "bad flag zones". Making the collar a daily habit may be necessary.

We have been using the in-ground Innotek fencing system for one year now and have been very pleased with it. Our rough collies have been easy to train and do not charge the fence nor do they break through it. Even in play, they stay away from the edge of the property as lined off by the invisible fencing. We do not have to put collars on all the time since the collies seem to know the boundaries and will respect them. We can also turn off the system and put the collars on and during seasons of electic storms and the collies have still respected the boundaries. Thank you for an easy to install, easy to train and use fencing system.

Our two dalmation/pitbull pound puppies have both a front and back yard thanks to this system and we have twice with them. They know what the flags mean, but they don't need to stay up long. They are only shocked in the rare instance wrestling takes them too close to the barrier. All of the neighbors love the dogs and can walk their kids down the street to say hi or not, but they know the dogs won't bother them; so it's also taught them how to relate to strangers if they want positive attention and how to be protective of their space. Also, others dogs can come over and play if our friends come, or our dogs can keep them out as a team if they are stray or aggressive. It's the entire difference between them having a free and happy atmosphere and excercise or not. Especially great for two dogs who can keep each other company.

I have been very pleased with our system. We have a golden retriever and we trained her at about 1 1/2 years old. She was basically trained in two days with this system, we continued some of the training for the first week and had all the flags pulled out within two weeks. Regardless of whether she is wearing her collar or not, she doesn't even think of testing the border. She has been shocked a total of two times and now she doesn't even think about straying from the yard. What a great system! I don't recommend putting your pet out without a collar on, but with our mild mannered golden, we've gone a couple of months without her even wearing her collar, THAT'S HOW MUCH SHE RESPECTS HER PERIMETER! Great product!

I installed system when my Lab was 6 months old. Followed the training instructions and she has rarely been shocked. Even when chasing a cat or squirrel, she will stop at the boundary. We've got 8 acres under cover so she has lots of room to play. Can't say enough about this system.

After looking at other systems we decided on Innotec for two particular reasons: the collars are totally waterproof, not just water resistant, and the dog gets an audio warning before the electronic one. Our dogs have learned to respond to the audio tone and no more enforcement is necessary. Following the directions we recieved, it was easy to train them to the system. They have the run of six fenced acres, swim in our pond constantly and seem as happy as we are with their freedom.

I have an 11 month old medium size white purebred boxer. She minded very well while in the house or on a leash. We have been using this system for the past 6 months and it has worked very well for us. Install was reasonably easy (though we had to hand dig the trench for the wire due to our sprinkler system). We also used a thicker gauge wire than the kit provided to insure that it did not break. We used 14g instead of the 20g the kit comes with and you can buy it in bulk at any hardware store.
So far we have been very pleased with the system.

We installed this system about 12 months ago and have had wonderful success with the system and our dog has been really happy. However we were not aware of the potential of interference from other radio frequecy transmitters that coincidently may be set to the same frequency as the collar. Please be sure to understand that garage door remote controls may trigger the collar and shock you dog.
The solution is to work with you neighbour to reset their door opener frequecy so that it will not affect the function of the collar.
Just be aware - if this happen the dog can really suffer especially if it happens when you not in the yard with the dog. The occurance could occur on may occasions traumatizing your por dog before you realize it.

My husband installed this system in one afternoon at our new home five months ago. It was very easy to install and to use. I am a dog trainer and we currently have three Dalmatians and a Chocolate lab that vary in age from 13 years to 3 years old who were all very easily trained to the fence. We have never had an incident of any of our dogs leaving the yard. This is a wonderful product and I am always recommending the Innotech products to my clients and friends.

I use this system to keep my akita in a 10 acre area. It works great. I really like the alarm system for wire breakage and power outage. The rechargeable collar really saves trying to keep spare batteries around the house. My dog was very easy to train and respects the boundry line. I highly recomend this product.

I moved into a home with this system already installed-no traditional fencing allowed. I was weary about using it. I waited 4 months before I tried it-4 months of a 25' tie-out leash. Finally I tried it, after one week, my 2 year old Golden Retreiver is happier than she has ever been, being able to run around the entire perimeter of the house. Thanks for making a great product!

This is a great system. I have a Border Collie that wanted to run everywhere! He got hit by a car, ran off, wouldn't come when you called him....even for treats. Since we installed this system a year ago he listens and stays in the yard and is overall a better dog. He doesn't even run out the door of others' houses when we visit, which he used to do every time!
I have added two other dogs to the system and expanded the line twice adding more of the yard and it has worked perfectly.

Excellent system. After training our dog took one correction and hasn't left the yard since. Even when other dogs come to play and then run home she never follows. My only complaint is the unit on the collar is too large. My daughters units are 1/2 the size of Innotek's.

battery has died (left in contain/train mode for long time) and dog still stays in yard. dog will listen to commands, come, sit, cage, bed. Dog was too stubborn to be useful before.
it's unbelievable how it changed the dog from a nuisance (running off, won't come, won't get in cage, won't listen) to a valuable part of the family, and an exceptional watch dog that won't leave the property.
she won't even follow other neighborhood dogs out of the yard if they come over.

Good Product. I have a male German Shepard and he always stays within our yard. I use the training feature to eliminate excessive barking and prevent him from jumping up onto people. It comes in handy when we travel to promote good behavior when visiting relatives. 99% of the time all our dog needs is the audible tone to stop his bad behavior. I rarely need to give a stronger correction than the tone. I also enjoy the openness of our yard without a need for a traditional fence.

Just upgraded today to the IUC 4100 from the HF-201, which I purchased on 7/22/02. Our Boxer "SUSU" is 3years old and was trained from a puppy, she only requires the audiable "tone" with a occassional test of the system mostly from her excitment, and not realizing her location in the yard. innotek has given us the peace of mind that our "SUSU is safe and secure in her ouwn yard and can run freely enjoying her whole yard. I have the 5100, contain and train product. I could not be happier with the results. My dog is/was a stubborn willed, very quick little cuss that always wanted to chase everthing he saw. That has thankfully ended.
I had chose to have the system professionally installed by a local company in Louisville, Ky. TLC Pet Fencing. I'm a single father of two girls and though the installation appeared within my abilities I chose this directions. TLC even helped with the training of our dog.

I would uncatagorically reccommend this product to anyone with a dog who likes to raom the neighborhood unsupervised. My rottweiller became quite the "Houdini". As quickly as I could find the places she was escaping from the yard she would find another. I did not want to spend $10, 000 putting a wall or metal gate aroung my property but my neighborhood has busy streets and my dog was in danger every time she got out. I purchased an invisible fence from a company online. It promised the world and claimed to be the ultimate in technology. As soon as the box arrived I knew I had been conned. It was made in China and was obviously VERY cheap. I went ahead and installed it. It worked intermittantly and the field changed size all the time. I tried to talk with the distributor and she was unavailable and unhelpful. I bit the bullet and anted up again for the innotek unit which was about the same price. As soon as I saw it knew I had a quality item. It worked flawlessly and I am one very satisfied customer. My rottweiller got sick and had to be put down. Very sad. But now my new pup is learning about boundaries from her predecessors innotek system! Thanks.

Awesome system ! Easy to install, fantastic for training. With two dogs you can control which you want to stimulate and /or tone. Eighteen weeks of puppy class could not accomplish what I was able to do with two weeks of training. My two Blue Heelers love to put on their collars because they know they have the freedom to run, I know that they are protected and will respond to my commands.

The training DVD was great and the one time I had to call for support I received excellent advice. Both rechargable collars have given us no problems (1 1/2 years old) and they get there share of abuse - our dogs are very active.
