With this innovative, portable system, there are no wires to bury. Just plug the transmitter into an electrical outlet close to the area where you want to contain your pet. The transmitter communicates with your dog’s receiver collar and helps keep him in the area you’ve designated for him. The system is portable, so you can bring it along with you! An unlimited number of pets can be added to the system as long as they wear a PIF 275 19 Receiver Collar.

General Info,
Completely wireless system
Signal field is spherical in nature giving a circular boundary
Should be mounted inside, 2 to 4 feet above the ground on a non metal surface
Should be kept at least 3 feet away from the utility box or large appliances
Maximum range is 90 feet from the transmitter or 90 foot radius
Minimum range is 5 feet from transmitter
Designed not to correct during a power outage
Receiver is constantly looking for a signal
Will only correct when the receiver loses the signal from the transmitter
The signal field is adjustable from a 5 to 90 foot radius from the transmitter 10 to 180 foot diameter. The shape of the signal is in a perfect circle and the shape cannot be altered. The range of the Instant Fence can be increased by using two or more transmitters. This creates multiple intersecting circles; two transmitters would create a boundary in a shape similar to a figure 8. The signal is canceled where the circles intersect, allowing the pet access to the entire area. The transmitters can be located a maximum of 150 feet apart and each transmitter must be out of the weather; they cannot get wet. The PIF 300 works best in yards that are relatively flat. The system will not work well if a drop off or steep slope is a part of the contained area. If you have a bi level home or an above ground swimming pool you could experience interruptions in the wireless signal. Please give careful consideration to whether the Instant Fence is appropriate for your yard before placing an order.
If you can plug in a cord, you can install this Wireless Pet Fence. This System has no unattractive poles to set up and no wires to bury. Instant Fence uses a constant radio signal to create a safe zone for your pet. When your pet approaches the boundary area, your pet will first receive a warning tone. If your pet continues, a correction is given. This Wireless Pet Fence is completely portable, so you can take it and your pet wherever you go. You can even add our DC to AC Power Inverter that will allow you to plug the system into the cigarette lighter of your car, boat or RV.

Important Note If you have a large or stubborn dog, this system is not likely to work for you. For such dogs, we recommend a buried wire system.
