Effective Monday, June 3rd 2013 most shipments will leave our facility utilizing FunPak shipping "fill". FunPak is a corn starch-based, environmentally friendly alternative to air pillows and foam "peanuts". Shaped in the form of dog bones, FunPak is 100% biodegradable and inside every box there will be a card describing to your customer what the fill is composed of and how to discard of it properly. Which is really just about however the consumer decides to dispose:

  • FunPak can be placed in a sink and soaked with water to break it down
  • FunPak can be sprinkled on a lawn or in a garden and will break down over about a 3 week period. While the EPA would probably have an opinion whether this should /could be marketed as a substance that would have a nutritional value to a lawn, corn starch certainly won't harm a lawn or garden
  • FunPak can be thrown away with a clear conscience- with the knowledge that the FunPak will break down 100% in a landfill upon exposure to air and moisture
  • FunPak does not exhibit the annoying static cling that foam peanuts exhibit.
Pet Lovers are going to smile when they open a box for their pet and find a box filled with little biodegradable "dog bones". When they read the card detailing the product and it's friendliness to the environment they will smile again!

Due to Fraud considerations, we will no longer ship to a different address than the billing address, unless prior approval has been given by our company, before the order is placed. 

The SHIP TO address and Name MUST BE the SAME as the BILL TO address, unless you have contacted us before ordering and received your approval . 

You must have a valid reason why you want 2 different addresses on your order and some verification that the shipping address is connected to the person whose credit card the order is being charged to. Send a photo of the your name with each of the addresses by email.

ANSWER- We accept Visa , Mastercard and Discover credit cards and debit cards ( if you use a debit card please notify your bank of the transaction so they will allow it to go through. We also offer Paypal. If you have a Paypal account set up, they accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex and Discover Card or bank deductions.when using Paypal come back to our site to complete the order. We do not take checks or money orders. Payment is immediate, when you click the submit button on the order form. ANSWER- We ship from Cincinnati Ohio 45248, For most of our products, Exceptions are Ideal dog doors are shipped from California Mr Herzher dog crates shipped from Alabama and Gun Dog House Dog Doors are shopped from Minnissotta 

HOW LONG BEFORE MY ORDER WILL BE SHIPPED?

ANSWER- We aim to ship one business day after the order date but two business days after the order date at the latest. Unless the products is not in stock.

HOW LONG WILL THE PRODUCT TAKE TO GET TO ME, ONCE IT IS SHIPPED?

DO YOU SHIP OUTSIDE OF THE CONTINENATL USA?

ANSWER- For most products , we ship outside the lower 48 USA states, by USPS  to Alaska , Hawaii Puerto Rico and our lying USA islands, Canada, Mexico, for other international locations you must signup to use our BONGO freight forwarder who will ship our products anywhere in the world.

 DO YOU OFFER ORDER PICK UP?

ANSWER -Yes only if you phone in your order first. Then you can pick the order up the following day at the warehouse in Cincinnati, Mon to Fri 9-5. You can not purchase or pay for any thing at the warehouse. You bring with you a copy of your order email receipt which you receive at the time of the order. You will be given the address of the warehouse and directions at the time of the order.

 DO YOU OFFER FREE SHIPPING?

ANSWER- YES , There is free shipping to Lower 48 US States only, on all electronic products with a cart value of over $150.00, if under $150.00 then, there is a $7.99 shipping charge, except extra wire and staples.

For extra fence wire, staples, beds, doors, cages, gates, pens, ramps, feeders and wateres, strollers, baths, crates, lifejackets, the cost of shipping is calculated by a UPS calculator in the shopping cart order form, at the time of checkout,based on product dimensional weight and your locaton. You can see the amount of shipping,  when you  put the product in the cart and fill in your  shipping address before you proceed to the next page of the order form.  

WHAT IF YOU PRODUCT IS NOT IN STOCK?

ANSWER We will notify you as soon as possible. You will be given an idea of when the product is expected in stock again. We can hold your order till it comes in stock again which is usually about a week. If the manufacturer has a back order on the product, it could be longer,  in that case you can cancel, the same day you placed your order or you could wait for the product to come in. If you cancell after, the day the order was placed, there will be a 5 % processing fee deducted from your returned funds to cover our costs for credit card processing.

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?

ANSWER-  We have a 30 day money back guarantee where we return all your money minus our expenses for the shippiing to get the product to you and the 5% processing fee  the credit card processsor takes. WHAT IS YOUR EXCHANGE POLICY?

ANSWER  - We do not do exchanges. if you made a mistake . You must reorder the correct item  you wanted and you must return what you ordered following the normal return policies . If you find the mistake the same day as the order, we can cancel your order same day and you can reorder the correct item(s) .


WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY? 

 ANSWER-  You can only cancel your order on the same day, that you placed the order only, after that day, all cancelled orders will have a 5% processing fee, no exceptions. If you cancel your order after the day you placed the order, there will be a processing fee,  5% of the order tota, to cover the costs we have already been charged by the credit card company to process the order. They do not refund this to us if you cancel your order.

 There is no Returns or Exchanges or Manufacturers Warrenty for International Orders.

Due to shipping restrictions, we require you to do a separate order for each gate or crate  that you order . We keep our prices as low as possible for you, so there is no free shipping on any dog gate or crate , except for Dynamic Accents products shipped to the USA. The cost of shipping for each individual gate or crate order is calcuated by a UPS calculator on your order form at the time of checkout.  Some of the gates are very large and  those will have a UPS Oversize handling fee added on as well.  To determine the shipping charges put your product and address info on the order form and click Update. The shipping charges that appear on the order are exactly what UPS charges us to ship that product to you at your location. Some of the smaller items may be shipped by USPS Priority mail in the USA and K9 Electric Dog Fence and Dog Product reserves the right to choose which shipping method.  We ship USPS to Canada and Hawaii and Alaska UPS and USPS will not ship to post office boxes. All UPS Shipments are insured up to $100.00 of the cart value for no charge, by default. UPS insurance rates are no charge up to $100.00 cart value  and $2.25 up to $299.99 cart value then goes up $.75 per $100.00 of cart value see chart below for rest of rates.

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, you have 30 days from the original purchase date to return the product for a full refund, less shipping costs and a 5% processing fee. No returns after 60 days. We do not do exchanges. 

BEFORE RETURNING ANY ITEMS PLEASE CALL OR EMAIL FOR A RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER. MAKE SURE TO AFFIX THE RMA NUMBER TO THE OUTSIDE OF THE PACKAGE.

EXCEPTIONS

The exception to this is:

There is no returns or refund for individual Wire Rolls, Beds, used Feeders and Waterers or Pet Apparel, Carriers, Lifejackets, or Pet Waste Disposal Products for sanitary reasons, for some of these call the manufacturer direcly see your packaging for the phone numbers or call us for the customer service numbers,

Also for sanitary  reasons there is also no returns or refunds on pet beds, unless they are unopened and still in the sealed box they came in.

 For KH pet beds they are Returnable ONLY if in sealed, unopened box, refund will be based on inspection,

 For KH deal with the manufacturer directly if product has a defect.

 Returns for Kidco Products, Cardinal, North States and Simpson Ventures ( Mr Herzher's) are handled directly with the manufacturer, check your packaging for the phone number, If we have to do a return, there will be a 15% restocking fee.

We will issue you a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA) to ensure proper processing.

Simply ship the defective unit by insured U.S. Mail ,or UPS to the address below . Make sure your get a tracking number.

After the 30 days are up you will have to rely on the limited lifetime warrenty to solve any problem.

    NOTE: To expedite your return request, please be sure to include all information above in your email. Otherwise, your refund/exchange could be delayed.
  2) Within 2 business days, a Customer Service representative will email you instructions for returning your item along with the RETURN ADDRESS FOR RETURN SHIPMENT and RMA Number.  Which your will MAKE SURE TO MARK VERY CLEARLY ON THE OUT SIDE OF THE PACKAGE.

 RETURN POLICY

  • Request for returning an item must be submitted within 30 days of the invoice date(the date the order was placed).
  • Upon receiving your email request for a Return or Exchange, a Customer Service Representative will email you return instructions with the address on where you need to ship your item back to, along with an RMA Number
  • We recommend that packages be sent back to us with UPS or FedEx Ground or any other carrier that can track and insure it's packages.
  • Make sure to NOTIFY US BY PHONE OR EMAIL WHEN IT IS SHIPPED BACK TO US with the tracking number so that we can track the package for you and issue credit immediately upon arrival. Please be sure to completely wrap your returns in the original packaging or equivalent and please package with appropriate packing material for safe shipment..
  • Except in the case of a manufacturer's defect, RETURN SHIPPING CHARGES are NOT Refundable and INITIAL SHIPPING COSTS paid to get the product to you are NOT refundable.
  • Credit card processing fees on the original item will not be refunded , these are 5% of the original order total.
  • A 15% restocking fee will be charged if the product is returned unclean
  • All return items must be in "re-sellable condition" ** to qualify for a return or exchange.
  • Once we receive your returned item, it will be examined to determine if it is in re-sellable condition. Please allow up to 7 business days for inspection and processing of the returned item.
  • If the item is re-sellable, a refund will be issued to your credit card (minus the original shipping fees) within 30 days of receiving your returned item.
  • If the item is found not to be in re-sellable condition or if pieces of the set or system are missing, a Customer Service Representative will contact you to notify you of the inspection. Items that are not re-sellable will be shipped back to you, at your request.
** Note about "re-sellable condition":  Items must be clean, undamaged and returned in the original packaging. Items displaying excessive wear are not eligible for a refund. Wire that has been removed from the spool and/or placed in the ground or installed, and flags that are rusted or have been used are examples of items displaying excessive wear. These items can not be salvaged and resold.

 RETURN PROCEDURES

To prevent any delays in your refund or exchange, please follow these instructions:
  • Returns must include a copy of the original invoice with the "RMA Number" and "Reason for Return" written on the invoice.
  • Returns must include all components and wrappings of the original manufacturers' package. 
  • After preparing your package for shipment, you must have the "RMA Number" labeled on the outside of the box in the lower left-hand corner. 
  • For your protection, we strongly suggest you insure your package for shipment. K9 Electric Dog Fence cannot be responsible for returned packages that are lost in the mail

Effective March 1, 2011 –

All customers will receive a 15% restocking fee on returned gates or gate accessories (North States, Kidco, Richell, Cardinal).

Obviously, there are exceptions – a mistake on our part (wrong item entered on order, wrong item shipped) or a truly defective item returned for credit – that entitle a full refund.

 Defective items where the customer wants a replacement, this needs to be handled with the manufacturers, as all their products should have warranties.  Some manufacturers  may ask us to replace and they will credit us, but I need their “approval” in email form in order to be able to deduct the costs of replacement.  this is particularly  true with North States.

 Just a general reminder about defective products:  Defective items generally have warranties with the manufacturer and customers’ need to go through their warranties to get the replacements.  We are not responsible for picking up and call tagging a defective item – for replacement or credit.  If a customer chooses to return an item that they feel is defective, then it is their responsibility to return the itemand pay for the shipping , for which we will issue a refund for the item only minus 15% restocking fee.
